2018 BMW X3 SUV Spotted in New Leaked Photos

A brand new set of leaked photos of the 2018 BMW X3 SUV had emerged online and based on a lot of features, it has been confirmed that they are indeed of the upcoming model. Similar to many other spy photographs, the ones released now are of low resolution and doesn’t do justice to the car’s amazing design. However, it is the first ever glimpse at the X3 SUV without any camouflage. BMW knows how to market their product that they released their own spy shots some time ago revealing their car but the new images show all the details along with the ones showcased by the brand. They did release a teaser video as well to support the photos in their Hong Kong website.   Being a mid-sized SUV, the designers didn’t try to change the size or shape of the car. The lack of drastic increase in size allows buyers to feel comfortable with the car in terms of spacing and driving experience. The styling is what that can be called evolutionary as there’s a much bigger front grille this time combined with brand new headlights and an overall rounded look. The changes are subtle but strongly proclaim that this is indeed a 2018 model of the popular BMW SUV. Many of the changes that can be found in the 2018 BMW X3 SUV are not visual but rather enclosed within to improve the overall experience. The new SUV is mounted on a rear wheel drive platform which is lightweight when compared to the existing one. It is supposed to provide much better fuel efficiency, drivability and loses significant weight providing better handling in tight corners. The entry level model is expected to weigh at 1,700 kilograms which is at least 100kg lesser than the current model. The new platform is lightweight yet provides more headroom and legroom for the passengers. Three different variants of the X3 will arrive when it gets officially launched. The top of the line M40i model will be powered by a 3.0-liter straight six-engine delivering up to 355 horsepower combined with 500Nm of torque. The top speed of the car will be pretty impressive at 155 miles per hour and can go from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.8 seconds. A plug-in hybrid variant is also being considered which could significantly increase the weight of the car but it will be only for those who like to adopt electric tech along with the conventional powertrain. The 2018 BMW X3 SUV may also get the M division treatment if things go as...

Jaguar XE SV Project 8 is the Fastest Car Yet with 592hp, Coming to Goodwood 2017 Event

The most powerful car to hit the roads from Jaguar is here! The Jaguar XE SV Project 8 is going to break all the records and benchmarks set so far and it will not only be a record smasher will also break the banks with its unbelievably high price tag. After all, the automobile brand is not going to build it to appease the average buyer but rather for the high speed car enthusiasts and those who just won’t think twice about paying the cost. However, Jaguar didn’t talk about the cost of the model so far which will be discussed further during the Goodwood 2017 event. The limited edition model has been designed and constructed by the Special Operations division. While the designers are not ready to remove the camouflage off the car, they have already created a promo video for this superfast car. It is still covered and doesn’t reveal the design aspects of the model. The official reveal will be in the month of June at the said event. The Project 8 by Jaguar is a continuation of the F Type Project 7 that the brand undertook earlier and this will further boost the performance of the model. The car has many milestone claims to it as it will be hand built by engineers and will be extremely limited in numbers. The construction will take place at the Coventry SVO technical spot and grabbing one of the 300 cars to be built will be no easy task. Being a superfast model, it houses a very powerful 5.0-liter V8 engine which allows the Project 8 car to reach up to 592 horsepower which is approximately 25hp more than the earlier Project 7. The actual road testing can be done to confirm how well it performs in actual track conditions. The XE SV is also significantly faster than the XJ220 released way back in the 1990s as it beats their decades old record by a clean 56 horsepower. Based on the images shown by Jaguar, it is possible to confirm that the bodywork and the chassis of the XE model has undergone some noticeable changes so that it can deliver the expected performance. The front grille of the car is now equipped with deep air intakes, mesh grilles and other changes that match on par with what is found in the Jaguar Land Rover model. The technical details, performance numbers and pricing will be revealed next...

The Mercedes Maybach 6 Coupe is the Car You’ve Always Dreamed of

The Mercedes Maybach 6 Coupe is the Car You’ve Always Dreamed of

Mercedes says the Maybach 6 Coupe is a throwback to the age of aero coupes. This 2+2 concept is going to be released the coming weekend at the Concours d’Elegance at Pebble Beach. If Mercedes chooses to go ahead with this concept car, it may just end up having a winner on its hands. A car that’s even better than the Rolls-Royce Wraith. The low roof line, huge hood, and passenger compartment are a reinterpretation of aesthetic, classic principles which still maintain an aerodynamic design. This is very important since the car is supposed to come with a 738 hp electric engine with a 200+ mile range. Having a slippery aerodynamic design will be critical if they are to achieve this objective. This car comes with Mercedes’ trademark gullwing doors which have been a part of the brand from way back in 1954 with the Mercedes 300 SL and more recently the Mercedes SLS AMG. The intelligent appeal and the technoid look of the car help it perfectly embody Mercedes’ design philosophy of purity and their chase for aerodynamic efficiency. The interior is loaded with all sorts of modern technology as well as old-school comfort which includes a Chesterfield look for the leather seats, an Elmwood trim, and huge screens with a digital overlay across the windshield which can show geographical as well as drive-related information on the entire lower portion of the glass. Most of this is still a fantasy for now just like you would expect from a futuristic concept car. If this is the direction in which Mercedes plans on taking their flagship Maybach line, they are more than going to create some tough competition for Rolls-Royce. In the process, all of us will be much better off too. One more thing from the press release worth noting was that there was no mention whatsoever of autonomous driving. It seems Mercedes want this car to be one that’s supposed to be driven. The only thing left to do now is convince Mercedes that it’s a car worth...
